Glossu RABBAN, Count of Lankiveil, was the eldest nephew of Vladimir HARKONNEN. Glossu RABBAN and Feyd-Rautha RABBAN (who took the name HARKONNEN when chosen for the Siridar-Baron's household) were legal sons of the Siridar-Baron's youngest demibrother, Abulurd. Abulurd renounced the HARKONNEN name and all rights to the title when given the subdistrict governorship of Rabban-Lankiveil. RABBAN was a distaff name.

Glossu RABBAN, Conte de Lankiveil, était le plus vieux neveux de Vladimir HARKONNEN. Glossu RABBAN et Feyd-Rautha RABBAN (qui prit le nom HARKONNEN lorsqu'il fut choisi comme successeur au titre de Siridar-Baron) étaient les fils légitimes du plus jeune demi-frère du Siridar-Baron, Abulurd. Abulurd renomça au nom HARKONNEN et droits sur le titre lorsque lui fut assigné la gestion gouvernamentale du sous-district de Rabban-Lankiveil. RABBAN était un nom d'emprunt.
